"The Chase" When the plains Indians acquired the horse, the hunting of bison (out west we call it a buffalo) changed dramatically. The warrior/hunter could now chase his quarry with great speed and agility. It made for an awesome sight and experience. Families would tell and retell stories of the hunt. |
