"The Rose" This is a small bronze casting about 6' tall and is mounted on marble. For most of my modeling I use plastilina. We cast this piece in metal, then chased the metal to a fine finish, remoulded it and produced the casting waxes for the final edition. This technique works great when you want a super smooth surface -- plus the casting waxes require very little chasing.
