"Keeper of the Medicine Pipe" The medicine pipe was a most sacred possession. The Keeper of the Pipe was a person of great stature and was highly honored to have the responsibility. Here I have depicted a Blackfeet that holds the pipe with great reverence and an air of nobility. Mounted on a walnut pedestal this piece stands 6 feet tall.
